Sherpa G20 discuss ways to work together, restore growth and create jobs


Sharba G20 leaders – representatives of the leaders – held their third virtual meeting within the Kingdom’s presidency of the G20 on September 29-30, 2020, with the participation of G20 members, invited countries, and international and regional organizations.

The sherba meeting opened with presentations by the eight contact groups and the private sector alliance to empower and support the economic representation of women (EMPOWER), in which they presented their recommendations to the Group of Twenty. The consequences of the emerging corona virus (Covid-19), restoring growth, creating jobs and charting a better future for all.

Sharba G20 countries will continue discussions on strengthening efforts to protect lives and livelihoods during the pandemic, providing support to the most vulnerable, and seizing the opportunities of the twenty-first century for all by empowering people, preserving the planet, and shaping new horizons.
