The spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Health, Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, called on the residents of the Kingdom to adhere to preventive measures to prevent the occurrence of the second wave of Corona virus, describing this matter as a “religious duty.”

Al-Abd Al-Ali said in a tweet that he posted on Sunday evening via Twitter: “God Almighty preserves and then complies with societies with conditions. Not registering a second wave in the kingdom and preserving the life of society. ”

Saudi Arabia is the 22nd country in the world in terms of the number of registered infections with the new Corona virus, with 342,202 cases, and the 32nd in terms of the number of victims of the pandemic with 5,185 deaths.

In recent months, Saudi Arabia has witnessed a remarkable decrease in the number of daily infections with the Coronavirus, which exceeded 4 thousand cases in the peak period and recently stabilized at a level of less than 400, amid sharp increases in this indicator in many countries in the Middle East and Europe, which increases fears of the second wave of the pandemic.
