The Romanian Razvan Lucescu, the technical director of Al-Hilal club, opened the door to the departure of Omar Kharbin, in exchange for contracting with a foreign professional instead, during the current summer transfer period.
The registration period in Saudi Arabia ends on October 25, and Al-Hilal has not officially settled any foreign deal, amid reports indicating that he is close to Venezuelan Sutildo, the Brazilian player from Santos.
Al-Bilad revealed that Omar Khirbin’s transfer deal with the Egyptian Zamalek had failed in light of the Al-Hilal administration’s insistence on obtaining a huge financial reward, in addition to not selling it definitively, but leaving it on loan.
Khirbin’s contract with Al Hilal expires in June 2021, which prompted Al Hilal’s management to request the renewal of the contract with him, and then he left on loan, which was rejected by the Syrian star.
Al Hilal management seeks to persuade Omar Khirbin to leave one of the Saudi Professional League clubs, on loan, in order to participate more, then return to the ranks of the leader again, if he agrees to renew his contract.
Zamalek refused the principle of contracting with Khirbin on loan, demanding to obtain his services permanently, which spoiled the departure of the player, to continue his career in the ranks of Al Hilal, amid ambiguity about his participation during matches in light of relying mainly on Frenchman Gomez, and his substitute, Saleh Al Shehri.
