Pep Guardiola, the coach of the Manchester City football team, has said that the star, Sergio Aguero, the team’s striker, may be out of action for another month..

The Argentine international recently recovered from knee surgery, but left the stadium due to a thigh problem during the match in which the team drew 1/1 with West Ham on Saturday.

When asked how long Aguero will be absent, Pep Guardiola said in a press conference: “The minimum is between ten and 15 days. And if his absence is prolonged, it will be between three and four weeks. I don’t know.”

“When you are absent for four or five months due to knee problems, your return carries a risk,” Guardiola added.

Manchester City will be a guest to French Marseille today, Tuesday, in the second round of the Champions League group stage matches, and the team traveled to France without defender Nathan Aki and Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho, but Emeric Laporte traveled within the team’s mission.

Striker Gabriel Jesus, who suffers from a thigh injury and has been absent since the team’s first game in the Premier League against Wolverhampton, will also not participate, but Guardiola said he is close to returning.

“Aymeric (Laporte) is back, Nathan (Aki) is close to returning, and Gabriel (Jesus) will return in a week or ten days,” Guardiola said.

He added, “We need everyone. In this year that witnesses so many matches, we will need everyone and everyone’s readiness.”
