Liverpool, the English Premier League champions, has announced that the team has so far scored 9999 goals in its history in various domestic and European competitions.
On the eve of his confrontation with the Danish Maitieland, scheduled for Tuesday evening in the second round of the Champions League competition, he put a referendum through his account on “Twitter”, to choose the most likely player to score the 10,000th goal in the history of the Red Club, which was founded in 1872.
Most of the participants in the referendum expected that the Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, would succeed in scoring the 10,000th goal for his team, and continuing to write history with the “Reds”, while another group expected that Senegalese Sadio Mane or Brazilian Roberto Firmino would have the honor to score the expected goal.
Liverpool is looking forward in today’s match, to beat its guest star, Mytiland, to achieve its second victory in succession, after its victory in the last round against Dutch host Ajax Amsterdam with a goal without a response.
