The Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, recovering from Corona Derby, decided the Milan derby (2-1) by scoring two early goals against Inter, strengthening the lead of his team, which had not lost or tied yet.
Zlatan, returning to the squad after recovering from the new Corona virus, scored Milan’s goals in the first quarter of an hour (13 and 16), while Belgian Romelu Lukaku scored the only goal for Inter (29).
Milan scored 12 points at the top, taking advantage of Atalanta’s 4-0 loss to Napoli earlier.
The Milan derby began with offensive pressure from Inter, whose coach Antonio Conte had suffered many absences due to the “Covid-19” virus. Almost opened the scoring in the first minute, after Moroccan Ashraf Hakimi broke through Milan’s defense from the right side and crossed a cross that was removed by the defense.
But a mistake by Inter defender Aleksandr Kolarov, awarded Milan a penalty kick after Ibrahimovic was obstructed, his last record in two stages in the 13th minute, after Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic stopped it the first time.
“Ibra” strengthened Milan’s progress in the 16th minute, after he set off a cross from the young Portuguese Rafael Liao, who landed her in the net to the left of the goalkeeper.
Inter then intensified their attacks on the “Rossoneri” goal, which led to Lukaku scoring the equalizer in the 29th minute, when he completed a cross from Ivan Perisic.
Inter almost equalized on several occasions, most notably before the end of the first half, with a header from Lukaku that passed by the left post of goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
