Good research with Al-Samadi about equipping 3 departments at Saida Governmental Hospital to receive Corona patients


The Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Hamad Hassan, met in his office at the Ministry of Public Health, with the director of “Saida Governmental Hospital” and the chairman of the board of directors, Dr. Ahmed Al-Samadi, in the context of his follow-up on the completion of equipping government hospitals in various Lebanese regions. The research dealt with following up on the equipment that has been raised for years to open other departments in the hospital, especially that the number of registered employees can ensure the operation of new departments without additional job burdens.After the meeting, Al-Samadi praised “the great interest that Hassan attaches to Saida Hospital,” noting that “the meeting completed the research in equipping three departments in the hospital to receive Corona patients, so that a section would be allocated for Corona patients, a critical care department, and a section Another is being prepared in coordination with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to receive refugee patients. ”

He thanked Hassan for “securing a hospital scanner in cooperation with the Association of Banks”, noting also “the urgent contribution that Hassan approved for the hospital, at a value of one hundred and fifty million pounds, in addition to three hundred million Lebanese pounds that were approved and received earlier.” He pointed out, “The Minister of Health’s endeavor to secure payment of the old reconciliations amounting to 6.7 billion Lebanese pounds, by communicating with Representative Bahia Al-Hariri to find a solution to the administrative problems that he faces.”
