Gold prices in Saudi Arabia declined slightly during early trading on Monday morning, compared to Sunday’s trading.
The price of a gram of 21 carat gold, the best selling, was 200.55 riyals ($ 53.48), compared to 200.72 riyals ($ 53.52) yesterday.
As for the price of a gram of 18 carat gold, it recorded 171.90 riyals ($ 45.80) compared to 172.05 riyals ($ 45.88) in Sunday’s trading.
The price of a gram of 14 carat gold was about 133.70 riyals (35.65 dollars) compared to 133.81 riyals (35.82 dollars).
The price of an ounce and a pound of gold
On the Saudi market, the price of an ounce was 7,132.50 riyals (1,902 dollars).
As for the price of the pound of gold in the Kingdom (8 grams of 21 carat), it was recorded at 1604.37 riyals ($ 427.38).
The preliminary budget data for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the next year 2021 expected a remarkable improvement in financial revenues to 846 billion Saudi riyals (225.6 billion dollars), an increase of 76 billion riyals (20.26 billion dollars) from the 2020 estimates, from 770 billion riyals (205.33 billion dollars) estimated In 2020.
And the Saudi Ministry of Finance announced the closing of the October 2020 offering of the Kingdom’s local riyal sukuk program.
On Sunday, the National Debt Management Center at the Ministry of Finance stated that receiving investors’ requests for its local issuance for the month of October 2020 has been completed, under the Saudi Arabian government sukuk program in the Saudi riyal.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the size of the issuance was set at a total amount of 270 million Saudi riyals.
