French doctor: We lost control of Corona – one world – outside the borders

Today, Monday, a French doctor warned that his country “has lost control of the Corona epidemic,” a day after more than 52,000 new infections were recorded in one day.

Dr. Jean-Francois Delfraissy, head of the scientific council that advises the French government on the virus, said the country is in “a very difficult situation, even in a critical situation.” According to Sky News Arabia.

He added to “RTL” radio: “There may be more than 50 thousand new cases every day. Our estimate in the scientific council is close to one hundred thousand cases, double this number,” according to what the Associated Press reported.

He added: “Among those who have not been tested and patients who have not shown symptoms, we are close to this number of cases. This means that the Corona virus is spreading very quickly.”

For his part, Dr. Eric Kaums, head of the infection and tropical diseases department at the Petit Salpetriere Hospital in Paris, said the country “needs to close again.”

He added to “France Info” radio: “We lost control of the epidemic, but this does not date back to yesterday. We lost control of the epidemic several weeks ago already.”

The number of confirmed deaths in Europe has exceeded 250,000, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University, which estimates the global toll at more than 1.1 million.
