Al-Khouli said on Radio On Sport: “We have already started negotiations with Mortada Mansour, President of Zamalek Club, to buy the player Mohamed Antar and other names.”
He added, “We are also considering the inclusion of Razak Cisse, Ahmed Rifaat, and it is possible also for the young defender, Mohamed Abdel Salam.”
“The new season will be very difficult. We are moving very seriously to meet the needs of the team and its coach, Ali Maher.”
Mohamed El-Khouli concluded, “The contract with Ali Maher and its timing, I consider it the best decision of the Egyptian Board of Directors over the last four years.”
Ali Maher took over the training of Al-Masry, succeeding Tariq Al-Ashry, and managed the team in 13 games. He won 7 matches, while losing three and tied three others.
Al-Masry finished this season in seventh place regardless of the results of the last round, with 45 points so far.
Al-Masry will meet Wadi Degla on October 30 in the final round of the League Championship.
