Google is working on rolling out a new security feature that will automatically issue an alert within the Google app that people use and help them process it, as users will not need to check email or phone alerts for a suspected hack or a compromise. New alerts are resistant to spoofing, So users can always make sure it is coming from Google.

“We will start a limited launch in the coming weeks and plan to expand on a larger scale early next year,” said Rahul Roy Chowdhury, vice president of products and privacy at Google. Currently, Google is using Android alerts to notify people of critical issues with their Google accounts, such as a suspected hack.

“The tech giant has seen a 20-fold increase in the number of people who interact with these new notifications within an hour of receiving them, compared to email,” Roy Chowdhury said in a post on Google’s blog. “Safe browsing protects more than four billion devices, and Gmail blocks more than 100.” One million phishing attempts per day, and Google Play Protect checks more than 100 billion applications per day for malware and other problems.

Google said that the updated Security Center is now in the United States and soon worldwide, and in Google Assistant, the company will introduce guest mode, which is a new way to use the assistant on home devices, and Roy-Chowdhury said: “With an easy voice command, you can turn on guest mode. Assistant interactions during this mode will not be saved to your account, and you can turn off the guest mode at any time to get the full and customized Google Assistant experience again.

In addition, you can always go back and delete what you said to the assistant using just your voice. ”Google answers more than three million questions about privacy and security every month worldwide, and on Android 11, Google will now create smart responses, including emoji recommendations, System intelligence on the device, which means no data is shared with Gboard or Google.
