Critical Covid-19 cases in Saudi Arabia continue to decrease … and 426 injured people have recovered


The Ministry of Health announced the registration of 399 new cases of Coronavirus in Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number of cases to 345,631, including 8,185 active cases.
Critical cases continue to decline, reaching 778 cases, receiving intensive care in hospitals.
The ministry stated that the total recovery cases rose to 332,117 cases, with 426 new cases cured, and the percentage of those recovering rose to about 96.09 percent of the total cases. The ministry report stated that 16 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total deaths to 5329 deaths. The observed deaths accounted for a decrease of about 70 percent, while the number of daily examinations reached 57,870 new examinations.
Males accounted for 58 per cent of the total cases detected, and females accounted for 42 per cent, adults accounted for 86 per cent of new infections, children accounted for 10 per cent, and the proportion of elderly infected persons accounted for 4 per cent.
The new cases were distributed in the number of cities and governorates in the Kingdom, with Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah topping it with 46 new injuries, followed by Riyadh with 44 injuries, then Makkah Al-Mukarramah 30 injuries.
In its report yesterday, the Ministry called for the importance of applying preventive precautions, stressing that laxity in implementing them would expose infection.
In addition, the Ministry of Health called on everyone to be careful to wash hands with soap and water as the most important way to prevent the emerging corona virus, and the necessity for every person when leaving the house to wear a medical or cloth mask or an airtight cover over the nose and mouth, with the exception of those who were alone in Closed place.
