Today, Sunday, the Spanish government decided to declare a state of health emergency and curfew in all parts of the country, with the exception of the Canary Islands, in an effort to control the outbreak of the virus in the country.
The government indicated, in a brief statement, that “the curfew will start from 11 pm until 6 am, with the possibility for areas to close or delay the date by one hour, depending on local conditions.”
The number of “Covid-19” infections in Spain exceeded the threshold of one million and 110,372 injuries, becoming the first European country and the sixth in the world to record this number of patients, while the number of deaths exceeded 34,752 cases.
The Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, confirmed that “the state of health emergency will be in effect until next May.”
