The Chelsea team managed to sweep its guest Crystal Palace by 4-0, on Saturday, at the opening of the fourth stage of the English Premier League, to win the London club by three important points.

And the new player Ben Chilwell helped his team win its first league match with the team.

Chilwell (50), Frenchman Kurt Zuma (66) and Italian Jorginho scored two penalties (78 and 82) goals for the London club.

Chelsea had returned from a three-way delay to draw 3-3 against West Brom in the third stage last week, before leaving the League Cup fourth round with a penalty shootout against Tottenham on Tuesday.

Coach Frank Lampard’s team raised its score to 7 points after achieving its second victory in the Premier League this season, noting that it fell 0 -2 to Liverpool.

The new Senegalese goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy, participated in the meeting in his first match in the league, after Argentine Lampard included Willy Caballero in the previous match against West Brom in light of the fluctuation of the performance of Spanish first goalkeeper Kepa Arisabalaga.

German newcomer Timo Werner is still absent from scoring in his fourth game in the league since his arrival from Leipzig at the beginning of the season, as he has not yet lived up to the aspirations of his compatriot Kay Havertz, coming from Bayer Leverkusen, although he received a penalty for his team.

And after Chelsea performed modestly in the first half, he rose up after the break, scoring all four goals, starting with Chilwell, a newcomer this season from Leicester City, who played his first league matches when the ball reached him after a confusion inside the region that he followed in the net (50).

The England international contributed to the second goal when he lifted a cross from the left side, followed by defender Zuma, in a header (66).

And Tammy Abraham got a penalty kick after a mistake from Terek Mitchell, which was translated by specialist Jorginho to the left of Spanish goalkeeper Vicente Guaita (78).

Havertz got a second penalty kick after Frenchman Mamadou Sakho ran over his leg, so Jorginho set out to try successfully again (82).
