Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Adel Al-Kalbani, the former imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, stirred up controversy after a tweet he published in Sahih Al-Bukhari with a chain of transmission on the authority of Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut`im on the authority of his father, amid questions about the restaurant “who died before he became Muslim.”

For his part, the owner of Al-Harbi’s account, 2233, commented: “Are you sure of the authenticity of this hadith, Sheikh Adel?” To respond to him, the account owner, Battal Al-Maliki, saying: “The hadith in Sahih Al-Bukhari and you are asking about its validity, Mr. Hadi, may God guide us and you to the truth.”

Al-Harbi responded with a tweet in which he said: “May God bless your good morning, Professor Battal, even if he was in Al-Bukhari. Hadiths recorded 200 years after the death of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace.” Al-Kalbani responded to him again with a tweet in which he said: In the Sunnah and its codification, then read any book on the notation of the Sunnah that will leave you in your head if you really ask.
