Trump announced that he and first lady Melania Trump were infected with the Coronavirus (Covid-19), after his hard-working advisor Hope Hicks was infected without taking a small break, according to Trump.
Hicks was on Air Force One with President Trump when he traveled to Cleveland, Ohio, on Tuesday, to participate in the debate with Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, and traveled with him on Wednesday when he visited Minnesota at a rally.
Melania confirmed in a tweet that she and Trump were infected with Corona, and confirmed that they were in good health. Melania said that she postponed all her upcoming engagements, and also asked the Americans to ensure their safety, and said that she and President Trump would pass this stage together.
For his part, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that he and his wife had tested for Corona virus, and the result was negative. Pompeo said he is reviewing his trip to Asia in light of President Trump’s infection with the Coronavirus.
