A “late” positive draw between Wolverhampton and Newcastle

Wolverhampton refused the opportunity to break into the Premier League semi-final by falling into a deadly positive draw against Newcastle United in the match that was hosted by Moulinho Stadium on Sunday as part of the sixth round of the English Premier League football.

The two teams remembered the path of the net in the last meters of the meeting, as the Mexican star Raul Jimenez advanced to the owners of the land in the 80th minute with a wonderful shot from outside the area, goalkeeper Karl Darlo failed to deal with.

But Wolverhampton’s players were not content with the progression after Newcastle scored the equalizer after 9 minutes thanks to Jacob Murphy, who deceived everyone and fired a free kick from the human wall in the narrow corner. Portuguese goalkeeper Roy Patricio did not succeed in preventing her from settling into the net.

This is the third consecutive match between the two teams, in which a positive draw was known with the same result.

The two teams shared the match point, bringing the ‘Wolves’ balance of 10 points in seventh place, which is the team’s first draw this season, in exchange for 3 wins and 2 losses.

While the “Magpies” did not succeed in eliminating the series of points bleeding for the second match in a row, after losing in the last round by four at the hands of United Germany.

The team scored 8 points, and temporarily ranked 14th.
