A FIFA study reveals the size of the summer transfer market decline in the world

A study conducted by the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), today, Friday, showed that the Corona virus led to an 18% reduction in transfers during the recent transfer period, compared to last year.

Total transportation expenditures decreased by about 30%, reaching a similar level in 2016.

In the 2019 transition period, $ 5.8 billion was spent internationally, but all that was spent a year later was $ 3.92 billion.

Most of the money spent was in England, where clubs spent $ 1.25 billion. Italy came second, with $ 544 million.

Spanish clubs spent 486.6 million, and French clubs 455.2 million. German clubs came in fifth place with 348.3 million.
