Almeria concluded the agreement with Benfica to sell its scorer, Darwin N نñez, to the Portuguese club in a record deal, and is the largest in the history of the Portuguese League.
The value of that deal was 24 million euros, in addition to 20% in the event that Benfica sells the player in the coming years.
Darwin scored 16 goals in all competitions for Almeria last season.
Almeria competed until reaching the final qualifiers to climb into the Spanish League for the First Division “La Liga”, but was unsuccessful, in his first season with the new owner Al Sheikh.
