The Saudi Press Agency “SPA” quoted al-Maliki as saying that the plane was launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia towards the Kingdom to target civilian objects and civilians in a systematic and deliberate manner.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr.
Al-Othaimeen stressed the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s condemnation of the continued terrorist Houthi militia, and those who supply it with money and weapons, to commit terrorist acts in a systematic and deliberate manner to target civilian objects and civilians in the Kingdom.
On August 31, the Arab coalition shot down an explosive drone launched by the terrorist Houthi militia on Abha International Airport.
Al-Maliki explained at the time that “as a result of the interception and destruction process, some shrapnel fell on the Abha International Airport, without causing any injuries or damage to civilians, including travelers and airport workers.”
On the same day, coalition forces destroyed a booby-trapped boat launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist group from Hodeidah Governorate on the Red Sea coast.
Al-Maliki stressed that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition continues to implement strict and deterrent measures against the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, and to neutralize and destroy such capabilities that threaten regional and international security.
