London – (AAA):

Today, Monday, British Health Minister Matt Hancock suggested that the Oxford University vaccine against the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) would be ready early next year, explaining at the same time that it may be ready by the end of this year in the best case.

Hancock said – in statements carried by the British newspaper “The Telegraph” on its website -: “The best scenario is for that to happen this year. I think the most likely is early next year, and in the first few months of next year it is the most likely ever.”

The British minister explained that the production of the UK batch of the promising vaccine that the “AstraZeneca” pharmaceutical company is working on has already begun before he was granted approval to start using it, noting that the government has already contracted with the company to provide 30 million doses.
