Saudi Sports Minister supports the Kingdom’s representatives in the AFC Champions League


Saudi Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal made a phone call yesterday evening, Thursday, to Saudi representatives in the 2020 AFC Champions League, namely Al-Hilal, Al-Taawon, Al-Nasr and Al-Ahly teams.

The Saudi Al-Riyadiah newspaper stated that the minister affirmed during his call his confidence in the ability of the four teams to provide more distinguished levels in this tournament, due to their capabilities and elements capable of facing all circumstances and appearing to perform honorably in a way that reflects the status of Saudi football.

Al-Faisal reassured during his call on the health conditions of the Hilal players who were infected with the new Corona virus, and made sure that the necessary health care was available to them, wishing them a speedy recovery and overcoming this emergency health crisis, and returning again to participate with their colleagues during the upcoming matches.

The Minister of Sports wished victory for the victory and cooperation teams today, Friday, looking forward to the completion of the Saudi teams’ qualification to the next round, after Al-Ahly had already guaranteed qualification.

Al-Nasr will meet today, Friday, with Iranian Sepahan Isfahan, and cooperation with Iranian Persepolis will meet in the group stage matches of the AFC Champions League.
