Galaxy Tab Active3 offers an 8-inch PLS TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, and an eight-core Samsung Exynos 9810 processor with a frequency of 2.7 GHz.
The tablet computer offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage with the ability to expand up to 1 TB via external microSD memory cards.
On the back of the computer – which weighs about 428 grams, and comes with a thickness of 9.9 mm – there are two cameras, the first of which is 13 megapixels, and the other is 5 megapixels.
Galaxy Tab Active3 has a battery capacity of 5,050 mAh. And programmatically, the computer runs Android 10 with Samsung’s promise to support up to three generations of Android system updates.
And because it is a very durable tablet computer, the computer supports many durability standards, such as: IP68 water and dust resistance, and MIL-STD-810H. The computer can bear falling from a height of 1.5 meters.
The computer comes with the S Pen, which also supports water and dust resistance in accordance with the IP68 standard, and it also comes with a shock-resistant protection cover.
The Galaxy Tab Active3 comes in two models, the first that supports Wi-Fi networks, in addition to a model that supports 4G LTE networks.
Similar to the Galaxy Tab Active Pro computer from last year, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 contains a number of improvements to facilitate its use with gloves, such as making the navigation buttons physical and not touch sensitive, and Samsung says: There is an option in the settings to make the tablet usable while wearing Thin Work Gloves.
Samsung’s announcement did not refer to any information about the price of the new tablet, but said: It is aimed at Europe and Asia, and will be issued in “specific markets” as of today.
For comparison, Samsung sold the Tab Active 2 Wi-Fi model for $ 420, and the LTE model for $ 520 when it went on sale in retail in the US in 2018.
