Samsung is preparing to hold an event on September 23

Samsung is preparing to hold a new virtual (Samsung Unpacked) event on September 23rd titled “Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan”.

And while the company hasn’t confirmed what it plans to reveal, there may be a hint at the full title of the event.

This seems to indicate that it will officially announce the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, about which many rumors have appeared.

The past few weeks have witnessed the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Tab S7 Plus and Galaxy Tab. S7) and (Galaxy Buds Live), but it seems that the company’s events are not over yet.

Most recently, Android Police found an unannounced Galaxy S20 Fan Edition on Verizon’s website.

The leaks and rumors indicated that the phone includes some hardware specifications for the Galaxy S20, such as a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a Snapdragon 865 processor, but it lowers the specifications elsewhere, such as a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, To help bring the price down below the flagship phone.

And based on the information, according to what was reported by “the Arab portal for technical news”, the (Galaxy S20 Fan Edition) can be put up for sale in October, and it is rumored that it contains a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh, random access memory with a capacity of 6 GB and internal storage with a capacity of 128 GB.

The Verizon website still shows the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition in several colors, including red, dark blue, pink and mint green.

As is often the case with Samsung, the phone may be offered in different colors across different companies and regions, as the official Samsung invitation offers navy blue and mint green options.

And you might remember the brand “Fan Edition” when Samsung relaunched the stalled Galaxy Note 7.

It is unclear why Samsung revived this brand after launching the “lite” versions of the Galaxy S10 and Note 10.

But the company may not want to frame the device as a lighter version of the Galaxy S20, given that it has many basic specifications.

Samsung is broadcasting the event on September 23 live on its website at 6:00 pm UAE time.
