News 24 | Regulators refer 9 corruption cases to the Competition Authority


The regulatory authorities referred 9 cases to the General Authority for Competition, to take legal action against companies and institutions that were involved in suspicious operations that reached the level of collusion in bids and offers with some government agencies.

According to Al-Madina, sources said that companies and institutions were involved in collusion in various fields, including contracts, maintenance, engineering consultations, contracting, and various services.

She explained that complicity in the various offers and bids leads to manipulation of government projects and wasting public money in order to control and dominate the markets by some companies.
