From the pictures of her, which she took on a street in Beirut, and commented: “What do I miss to dress and appear at home … and walk your streets, O Beirut.”
Fares replied to one of the observers who asked her to return to communication with them, after her absence during the past days due to her great influence and sadness when what happened in Beirut as a result of the port explosion.
And she said to him: “What is left in something, meaning that it is transmitted, there is no soul left to me, neither a blame, nor a street, nor a humiliation, my heart is crying from the air, for the first time with a current sense of weakness and broken, unfortunately my country broke me.”
