Moamen Zakaria, the Al-Ahly player, became the talk of European newspapers after Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool, celebrated in his own way after scoring his team’s victory goal in the Leeds United match on Saturday in the first round of the English Premier League.
Zakaria, 32, responded to Salah’s support for him, by posting a picture of him through his personal Facebook account, while he was performing his famous celebration accompanied by a picture of Muhammad Salah while he was performing the same celebration with the slogan “Heart” hanging on it.
Salah celebrated in the manner of Zakaria immediately after scoring the third goal in the 88th minute of the match, by performing the usual way of celebration for Moamen Zakaria, by placing his hands on his ears Monday and pointing to the number 8, which is the number of the shirt worn by the Al-Ahly star.
Salah wanted to dedicate his goal to Zakaria and express his support, after the illness for which he is preparing to travel to the United States of America to follow his treatment program, where he is expected to stay there for several months.
Zakaria suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), known as motor nerve disease, which affects the brain and spinal cord, causing loss of muscle control, which kept him from playing football.
