Maya Diab commemorates the fortieth anniversary of the victims of the Beirut Port explosion, Today, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 06:45 pm
On the 40th anniversary of the Beirut Port bombing, the superstar Maya Diab called on the world to not forget what happened on the fourth of August and to continue to provide aid and support to those affected and contribute to the reconstruction of Beirut.
To mark the occasion, Maya is preparing for a patriotic charity work that will be broadcast Tuesday evening on the Lebanese MTV screen at 9:40 pm and on her YouTube channel. This work will be devoted to making donations to Beirut and the families of the victims, through several methods approved by Maya and all those in charge of the work.
On her own page, Maya published a video clip in which she announced the commemoration of the fortieth anniversary, in which she appeared saying, “Remember Beirut with dignity and you.” Maya is expected to perform a purely patriotic and revolutionary set of songs during this evening.
In support of this event, the star Maya Diab launched a new photo filter through her Instagram account. It was launched under the title “6:07”, as it symbolizes the timing at which the explosion occurred. It is applied by placing the face to be photographed in the center of the screen, while the Lebanese flag appears in the back.
Maya also encouraged all her followers to use it so that they do not forget Beirut and the disaster that befell it through this filter. Many social media pioneers interacted with her, in addition to a large number of people of art and the press.
It is noteworthy that Maya Diab worked hard from the beginning in supporting Lebanon by providing food and foodstuffs to the affected families and urged the Lebanese to stick to their country, and also participated in cooperating with a large team of doctors to restore the faces of the injured children in that accident.
She also participated in another humanitarian event on the application of Anghami with a group of Arab and international artists called “Voice of Beirut” to help support Lebanon.
