If you are considering purchasing a new laptop, you may want to wait a little. This is because Intel recently announced the eleventh generation of its processors designed for laptops, which it named Intel Tiger Lake. According to the company, it is expected that the new generation of Intel processors will make its way to laptops in the fall, so as we have said, it might be a good idea to delay the decision to buy a new laptop for about two months.

The new Intel Tiger Lake processors are manufactured using 10nm technology, but despite this, Intel says it will bring with it noticeable improvements in performance compared to the current tenth generation. Specifically, the new Intel Tiger Lake processors will be 20 percent faster at the level of office tasks, twice faster at the level of broadcast games, and about 2.7 times faster during content creation. Moreover, it has a high frequency of 4.8GHz instead of the 4GHz that current 10th generation Intel processors reach.

If you are wondering whether or not you can use these new processors for games, the new Intel Tiger Lake processors will also come with an integrated Intel Xe Graphic GPU that features 96 controllers and a frequency of 1.35GHz. The new processors will also support Thunderbolt 4, along with WiFi 6, and will provide a longer period of use thanks to improved battery life, which is good news for those who like to work outdoors.

As we said, Intel expects new processors to make their way to laptops this fall, and there are companies already working on new computers equipped with these processors, including Acer, Asus, Dell, Dynabook, HP, Lenovo, LG, MSI and Razer. And Samsung, so keep your eye on what’s happening.
