The operating system (iOS 14) includes a variety of new features, including: a redesign of the iPhone’s home screen, a library of applications that group applications into special folders, improvements in the voice assistant (Siri), in addition to the ability to unlock your car using the iPhone, And much more.
In iOS 14, Apple also added a new feature to the features of the Accessibility section called (Back tap) that allows you to perform various actions by double-clicking on the back of the iPhone, or by clicking three times.
How does the (Back tap) feature work?
The (Back tap) feature relies on its work on the gyroscope, accelerometer, and motion sensors on your iPhone to detect clicking on the back of the phone, so this feature works well even if you use a thick case for your phone.
The (Back tap) feature helps you link double or triple-click options with a set of system tasks, such as: taking a screenshot, locking your phone, activating silent mode, or changing the volume, in addition to running certain applications such as Google Assistant.
List of iPhones that support the Back Tap feature:
Not all iPhones eligible for iOS 14 support the (Back Tap) feature, but the feature only works on the following iPhone models:
iPhone 8 Plus
iPhone XS Max
iPhone 11 Pro
iPhone 11 Pro Max
Here’s how to use the feature to quickly save an iPhone screenshot:
Go to (Settings) Settings on the iPhone phone after installing iOS 14.
Click on the option (Accessibility) Accessibility.
Click on the option (Touch).
Scroll down until you reach the option (Back Tap), and click on it.
How do you take a screenshot of an iPhone by clicking on the back?
You will see two options (double click) Double Back, or (Triple Back), press the option that suits you to perform certain tasks when pressing the back of the phone.
Once you click on an option, you will see a list of tasks that you can customize, select from this list the option (Screenshot).
You can also go back to the previous screen and assign an action to triple click as well.
Once you have completed these steps; When you tap two or three times – depending on the setting you choose – on the back of an iPhone, the system will take a screenshot of the current iPhone and save it as an image in the gallery.
