The American tech giant began sending invitation cards to media outlets for its special event, which will be held on September 30, 2020, promising to announce new equipment.
Google said in the invitation card: “We invite you to know everything about the new Chromecast, our latest smart speaker, and the new Pixel phones.”
Google has already confirmed its intention to launch a phone (Pixel 5) later this year with support for 5G networks. The company had announced this along with announcing its Pixel 4A smartphone last month, promising to launch versions that support 5G networks of the Pixel 5 or (Pixel 4A) phone in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France. , Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia.
With regard to the smart amplifier, it is believed that Google intends to announce the Nest speaker, which the company confirmed its existence last July, after a photo of it was leaked on the Internet. From the pictures, the device looked like a design between the Nest Mini and the larger Google Home Max, with the ability to stand vertically.
It is noteworthy that two new, mysterious Google devices appeared in the Federal Communications Commission last month, and they seem to be related to the new Android TV product, which the company has reportedly been preparing for for some time.
The company is rumored to be working on an electronic TV switch codenamed Sabrina that will use Android TV and a traditional remote user interface. Chromecast devices are usually operated by smartphones, and Google’s invitation specifically refers to (Chromecast), so it is not clear if these two devices will appear later this month.
It is reported that the Google event will take place on September 30 at 9 pm Mecca time.
