Famous coach Musimani quits as Sundowns coach to oversee an Arab team

A report by the South African “Times” newspaper revealed that coach Pitso Mosimane had resigned from coaching Mamelodi Sundowns, South Africa, to take over the task of supervising Al-Ahly.

The report indicated that the famous coach in Africa, who has just won the fifth league title with Sundowns, will train Al-Ahly as soon as it is available, which means that the South African coach may be officially appointed, tomorrow, Thursday, at the head of the technical department of the “red genie.”

Reports coming from Egypt agree that Al-Ahly club will terminate its contract with its current Swiss coach, Rene Fyler, according to the condition stipulated in the contract concluded between the two parties, after the coach’s insistence on traveling to his country without guarantees for his return.

Al-Ahly had renewed his Swiss coach’s contract until the end of next season, but he set a condition allowing him to leave for free without paying the penalty clause during the period between October 1 and 10.

It should be noted that Musimani was also associated with his name during the last period, with the coaching of Moroccan Wydad.
