Asus has released the new TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 display card with its three fans that provide unprecedented performance and major improvements in various aspects, both in terms of design, efficiency and even manufacturing quality.

Asus focused on raising the efficiency of the heat sink through Axial-tech technology in the three fans, as the middle fan, which consists of 13 blades, rotates in the opposite direction of the rest, and this leads to improved air flow and pressure on the one hand, and also reduces noise and vibrations on the other hand because the fans The others have fewer blades, allowing a balance between the air force and the direction of movement.

In addition to the three fans that the card relies on, there are two basic heat dissipators to manage cooling and are connected to each other via six aluminum tubes. You can also add your own adjustments like more fans for extra cooling.

There is also a heat pipe dedicated to absorbing heat from the VRAM to bring its temperature within acceptable levels of performance.

And in the case of inactivity and not playing, the fans stop working automatically at a temperature below 55 degrees Celsius. The fans are based on a double ball mount to increase the usage life by 2 times.

Asus has provided the card with the exclusive MaxContact Technology, which provides a copper surface that connects directly to the processor, making it twice as better in terms of connectivity compared to traditional copper surfaces, because it uses precise technologies in the manufacture of its copper surface.

ASUS technologies improve flatness and contact space for better energy management and higher heat dissipation even at a microscopic structural level.

This new technology delivers 15% more heat dissipation than the old generation ROG STRIX.

The cards are based on a new PCB design and the new NVIDIA Ampere architecture that delivers twice as much performance as the older generation for the same power consumption.

Capacitors and other components are engineered with extreme conditions in mind to improve performance and durability.

The card was tested in continuous operation for 144 hours and maintained the same performance without any slowdown or interruption.

The aluminum and processor cover is long-lasting, providing adequate protection for the card components.

The card is powered by two ports, each with 8 friction teeth. The circuit is quick to warn with the LED light if the voltage drops below the required limit.

The color that appears in the foreground and the nature of the color display can be customized by choosing from a range of available modes.

The bottom of the card was covered with an aluminum plate for protection and connected to memory chips via a large thermal pad. Also, there is a wide ventilation hole that allows hot air going to the front of the card to leak into the huge ventilation fans instead of being recycled by the fans.

On the back, there is also a GPU bracket to provide more pressure between the processor and the heat sink. Stainless steel protection is used to prevent dust from forming on the ports and increase its useful life and heat tolerance.

Performance tests on the GeForce RTX 3080 indicated that it was about 15% less heated in High Performance mode. Because as you can see, there is a small button to switch the use of the card between quiet mode and high performance mode, according to the need of use and the type of games.

To conclude with the technical specifications, the card contains 8704 CUDA cores with 16 GB of GDDR6X memory and a memory speed of 19 GB per second and supports digital resolution up to 7680 x 4320 pixels.

In terms of ports and connectivity, there are two HDMI ports and 3 screen ports with HDCP support, and it supports display on a maximum of 4 screens, and it needs to supply power from two ports and needs a capacity of 750W, as it depends on the 2.7 port for the main connection.

ASUS provides the ASUS GPU Tweak II app that allows adjustments and improvements in parameters such as core speed, memory frequency, power settings, and more.
