Sports journalist Mustafa Al-Agha responded to the harsh criticism directed at him, after he provided support to Al-Hilal, during his last match against Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan.
Corona, which appeared late last year in the Chinese province of Wuhan, hit a few days ago, the leader’s ranks, while the first football team was in Qatar, in order to compete in the group stage matches of the AFC Champions League, where tests confirmed that ten players were injured, and they are: “Yasser Al-Shahrani, Nawwaf Al-Ghamdi, Abdullah Al-Jadani, Nawaf Al-Abed, Muhammad Al-Buraik, Salman Al-Faraj, Muhammad Al-Waked, Saleh Al-Shehri, Hamad Al-Abdan, and Abdullah Al-Hafiz.”
Al-Hilal succeeded in snatching a negative draw, yesterday, Thursday, in front of his opponent Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan, in a match that was held in the fourth round of Group B in the Asian Championship.
The AFC Champions League title holder received a special praise from sports critics, in particular Agha, who stood applauding the leader, while presenting the Echo of the Stadiums program.
Mustafa wrote through his personal account on Twitter: “A.Some blamed me because I stood in respect of Al Hilal during # Echo_stadiums, after he offered a lesson in playing distinction, in the absence of ten players with Corona, and they said that most of them are (reserve).
