A new audio leak revealed the details of an old conspiracy to organize the ruling Hamdeen in Qatar, in collusion with the former Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi, against the Arab Gulf states, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On Monday, the Qatari dissident, Khaled Al-Hail, published the audio leakage on his official Twitter page and said: “The Hamdeen conspiracy with Gaddafi and playing on the tribal chord in order to spread chaos and bring down the regimes in the Arab Gulf states.”

The details of the plot show the efforts of Muammar Gaddafi, along with the former Emir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa and his prime minister at the time, Hamad bin Jassim, to cause chaos, splits and sabotage through the Arab Otaiba tribe with historical roots in the Arabian Peninsula in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In the leaked audio recording, Gaddafi spoke with Hamad bin Khalifa and Hamad bin Jassim, about how the Otaiba tribe was used to spread chaos in the Arab Gulf states.

Hamad bin Khalifa and Hamad bin Jassim agreed with what Gaddafi wanted, and they claimed that “the tribal movement began to return again, including the Kingdom,” citing the Otaiba tribe, as they claim. In the audio recording, Hamad bin Jassim cited a camel contest that they set up in Qatar for a tribe to cause a wedge between the tribes, and Gaddafi responded by asking: “Has this competition reached Saudi Arabia?”

The Otaiba tribe is one of the oldest and largest tribes in the Arabian Peninsula, and it is one of the most numerous and widespread contemporary Arab tribes whose homes extend from the Hijaz to the middle of Najd, and there are families from them that migrated to Kuwait, Jordan, Syria and Nablus in Palestine and some Arab Gulf countries.

The ancient origin of the Otaiba tribe goes back to the Hawazen, Mdharia, and Adnaniyah tribe, and alliances from other tribes, like other Arab tribes, joined under it.

The Qatari opponent, Khaled Al-Hail, ruled out the response of the Otaiba tribe at the time to the Qatari-Libyan conspiracy, praising that ancient Arab tribe and said: “The Otaiba tribe is honored for the malicious intentions of the Hamdeen, and Saudi Arabia will remain free and proud and its people and tribes on the banner of unification.”

Recently, audio leaks, called “Gaddafi’s tent leaks,” showed a large Qatari project, Libya, of sabotage and chaos against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and against the Arab countries, to strike the regimes and spread chaos, and through them the size of the plot that the leader of the sabotage project was weaving became clear. Hamad bin Khalifa and Hamad bin Jassim, and with them Muammar Gaddafi.
