The platform has provided an electronic environment to provide more than 200 services

The number of those who were issued digital IDs through the “Absher” electronic platform exceeded 17 million citizens and residents, male and female, who benefited from the services of the Ministry of Interior provided through the platform, which provided an electronic environment through which more than 200 services were executed without attending or reviewing the offices of service providers.

The use of this digital identity is available to access other government platforms, portals and applications through linking with the unified access service in partnership with the information center.

The number of portals and associated platforms exceeded 147 platforms and gates, making it easier for citizens and residents alike to complete their transactions electronically, without the need to review or visit service providers in government agencies.

The “Absher” platform is designed according to the latest capabilities and technologies to accommodate the large numbers of people who wish to benefit from it and serve them faster and more easily.

The unified digital identity facilitates the entry of citizens and residents to all electronic government services.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Interior heads the Unified National Enforcement Committee, and a number of government agencies participate in it, with the aim of expediting and enabling the use of the unified digital identity issued by the Ministry of Interior to individuals, which is an extension of the traditional identity.

The committee seeks to expand the number of entities benefiting from the service, add new segments of beneficiaries, and start providing legal digital identities within the same unified access platform in cooperation and coordination with government agencies issuing these identities.

The unified access service in the Kingdom is a unique model at the regional and international level.
