Apple invented video editing tools for iPhone in iOS 13, so you can edit videos just as you do with pictures, and no third-party app is required, so here’s how to use the original video editing tools on iPhone:

The following directives are for iPhones running iOS 13 (and later), iPadOS 13 and later. Supported devices include iPhone SE 1st generation and later, iPod touch (7th generation), and iPad Air 2 and later.

How to edit a video:

Launch the iPhone Photos app from the home screen of your device.

• Select Albums at the bottom of the app.

• Select video clips.

• Tap on the video you want to edit.

• Choose Edit from the top right of the screen.

Press and hold the left or right side of the timeline to use the trimmer.

• Drag the anchor left or right to clip it.

• Click and hold (anchor) to expand the timeline for more precise editing.

• Tap Done at the bottom right of the screen.

How to resize a video:

You can now change the video clip size on iPhones without the need for a third-party app.

Launch the iPhone Photos app from the Home screen.

• Select Albums at the bottom of the app.

• Select video clips.

• Tap on the video you want to edit.

• Choose Edit from the top right of the screen.

• Click on the crop icon.

• With your finger, select (Straighten, Horizontal, or Vertical).

• Slide your finger left or right to change the size, and any changes you make will appear automatically.

How to flip and rotate the video:

To flip and rotate a video clip on iPhones operating with (iOS 13) and later:

Launch the iPhone Photos app from the Home screen.

• Select Albums at the bottom of the app.

• Select video clips.

• Tap on the video you want to edit.

• Choose Edit from the top right of the screen.

• Click on the crop icon.

• Select the face icon.

• Select the rotate icon in the top left to rotate the video, and repeat as necessary.

You can also add filters, mute the volume, and adjust the brightness of the video on iPhones through the same settings.
