Scientists have known for some time that Venus has a modern surface relative to the rest of the planets such as Mars and Mercury, which possess Jovin Cold. Evidence suggests warm hollows and geologically active points on the surface of the planet in annular structures with crowns, which form when columns of hot materials flow from inside the planet through the mantle and crust layer. This is similar to the way volcanic scarf plumes form the Hawaiian Islands.
Currently active crowns indicate the most active areas of the planet, providing clues to what is going on inside the planet. These results may help determine the areas that should be used to place geological equipment in the future missions of Venus, such as the “Europe’s EnVision” mission planned for 2032.
