The martyr of Lebanon and the regiment, Joe Bou Saab, began his last journey towards his hometown Damour with a farewell visit to the Fire Brigade Center in Karantina, where his companions received his coffin wrapped in the Lebanese flag with applause before they took turns carrying it and dancing in the midst of the sounds of fiery arrows and the horns of the mechanisms.
The martyr’s motorcade presented wreaths of flowers that his comrades carried in their name and in the name of the regiment leadership and the governor of Beirut.
Then the procession headed to Ain Al-Rummaneh, where he grew up with companion on the path and martyrdom, Ralph Mallahi, and was greeted with warm applause and chants, and the spread of rice.
The procession will go to his hometown in the town of Damour to be buried, where prayers will be held for the comfort of himself at 3:00 pm in St. Elias Church – Damour.
