Although fashion shows in Beirut have declined dramatically in recent years, Lebanese fashion houses have not lost sight of the capital and have remained steadfast, fighting for survival. Although the economic crisis that struck Lebanon had extensions in various fields, the fashion sector has maintained its presence. Beirut has long been known for its designers who participate in the most important fashion shows held around the world. In this context, the explosion of the Beirut port left its mark on the fashion sector, as many houses took their center in the heart of Beirut and the surrounding areas, and the effects of the explosion greatly connected them. In this context, more than 10 homes were almost completely destroyed. Each designer started posting pictures of his Atelier and the extent of the damage he had suffered. Among the designers affected are: Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, Tony Ward, Nicolas Gibran, Rabih Kayrouz, Cregor Jabotian and others. In addition to the bag and jewelry designers whose shops have been reduced to rubble. The designers emphasized in their media appearances that they have persevered for 20 years in the capital and did not leave it in the most difficult political, economic and social conditions.
