The death of the Syrian artist Tony Moussa due to Corona


(MENAFN – Palestine News Network) Damascus / PNN- The Syrian actor, Tony Moussa, died yesterday evening, Sunday, as a result of his infection with the new Corona virus (Covid 19), after which he entered Al-Assad University Hospital in the capital, Damascus.

The son of the late artist, the artistic producer, Danny Moussa, said yesterday evening that his father was hospitalized because of his infection with the Corona virus and is undergoing appropriate treatment.

The late artist “Tony Moussa” is a Syrian actor, born in Damascus. He started his artistic career in 1974 through theater, cinema, television and radio, then became a member of the Syndicate of Syrian Artists in September 1985.

Toni Musa presented theatrical works during his artistic career, including: “The Return of the Absent,” “The Wall Is Broken,” “He Died and Didn’t Repent,” “The People Who Are in the Eighth Heaven,” and “The Man Who Is Over the Angels.” As for the cinema, he presented: “When absent Wives, and lovers, and the trap.

On the level of drama, Tony participated in several works, including: ‘The Red Tear’, ‘Fawzia’, ‘Men and Fog’, ‘Revenge’, ‘The Wall of Time’, ‘Shema’, ‘Farewell at the time of silence’, ‘Remains of tears’ and ‘Tomorrow’ Another day, ‘Virgin of the Sands’, ‘East Takht’, ‘Beyond the Sun’, ‘Abu Janti’ and ‘Bab al-Hara’.

It is noteworthy that the last appearance of the late artist Tony Moussa was through his participation in the series ‘Prokar’ by Samir Hazeem and director Mohamed Zuhair Ragab.
