The Syrian Ministry of Health announced that 83 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours, and 5 deaths were the largest daily death toll since the outbreak of the virus in the country.
Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Health said in a statement: “83 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded, bringing the number of recorded infections to 1927, and 14 cases of registered infections were cured, bringing the number of recovery cases to 445”.
The ministry added that 5 deaths from the Corona virus were recorded, bringing the number of victims to 78.
19 injuries were distributed in Damascus, 6 in Damascus suburbs, 7 in Homs, 2 in Tartous, 16 in Aleppo, 18 in Lattakia, 2 in Al-Hasakah, 8 in Hama, and 5 in Daraa.
The first infection with the Corona virus was recorded in Syria on the twenty-second of last March for an immigrant, while the first death was recorded on the twenty-ninth of the same month.
