Scientists from the University of San Francisco have discovered that the emerging corona virus provokes a strong immune response in a person who is hampering infection control.
According to the study published by MedicalXpress, scientists concluded that the body begins trying to get rid of the virus within a few minutes after infection, and excessive struggle leads to a heavy and dangerous course of the disease.
Meanwhile, the immune response to HIV infection is significantly different from that when a regular flu virus enters the body.
Scientists also found that the virus is capable of infecting respiratory cells and parts of other organs, and in this it is being helped by protein nails, from which it gets its name.
But scientists say, penetration of cells through the respiratory system, remains the easiest way to virus.
