Ronaldinho released in money laundering case due to insufficient evidence

Brazilian Ronaldinho Gaucho, a former Barcelona player, is close to returning to his country after starting his case with the Paraguayan judicial authorities, due to insufficient evidence and investigations failing to prove something against him.

The US “ESPN” network confirmed that the Paraguayan authorities could not prove the suspicion of Ronaldinho’s money-laundering operations inside the country, so the player is now in a good legal position.

It is expected that Ronaldinho will be released from house arrest in the coming hours, with his return to Brazil to see his family and then travel to Barcelona to settle there.

It is worth noting that Ronaldinho is currently staying in a Paraguay hotel temporarily, as he is still under compulsory detention due to the failure to close the cases against him regarding his entry into the country using false passports.
