A French press report revealed today, Friday, the position of Argentine Barcelona’s Lionel Messi from moving to Paris Saint-Germain during the current summer transfer period.
According to the newspaper “L’EquipeFrench, the Brazilian Leonardo, sporting director of Saint-Germain, made a call with Jorge, Lionel Messi’s father and agent, and asked him about the possibility of the Argentine star’s transfer to the French team.
The newspaper pointed out that Jorge Messi told Leonardo that Messi preferred to move to Manchester City, England.
Messi told his Barcelona team last Tuesday that he wanted to leave after he became dissatisfied with the club’s problems on and off the field.

Several media outlets have suggested that Messi move to Manchester City, where he will meet again his former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.
Other reports have indicated that the Italian clubs Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Juventus are also considered a potential destination for Messi if his contract with the ancient Catalan team is terminated.
