The Spanish “Sport” confirmed that the Manchester United coach had recommended the club’s management to negotiate with Barcelona to join Ansu Fati during the current summer transfer period at any cost.
And the coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has become in great trouble over strengthening his team at the front lines, after Borussia Dortmund refused to give up his wing, Jadon Sancho, recently.
Manchester expressed its willingness to raise the offer made to Fati, in order to lure the Catalan club to abandon the services of its 17-year-old wing, who had previously offered 100 million euros, but the Barcelona administration refused to sell the player.
The Catalan club wants to enter into talks to improve Fati’s contract and raise the value of the penalty clause for his departure, which currently amounts to 170 million euros.
On the part of the player himself, he has no intention of leaving the “Camp Nou”, due to his desire to participate as a main player in the future, with coach Quique Setien.
It is noteworthy that Fati has participated in 32 games with Barcelona this season in all competitions, and has scored 8 goals.
