Inter Milan defeat Atalanta and finish Serie A in second place


Inter Milan ended the season in second place in the Italian Football League after defeating Atalanta 2/0 during their match today, Saturday, in the last round of the league competition.

This round also saw Sampdoria draw with Brescia 1/1, Milan’s victory over Cagliari 3 / zero, Rome over Juventus 3/1 and Napoli over Lazio 1/1.

Inter Milan advanced with a goal scored by Danio de Ambrosio in the first minute of the match, and Ashley Young added Inter Milan’s second goal in the 20th minute.

Inter Milan raised its score to 82 points in second place, one point behind Juventus, who was crowned the title, while Atalanta’s balance stopped at 78 points in second place.
