Barani Krishnan Books – The forward month crossed the $ 2,000 an ounce threshold on Tuesday, with the decline resuming after a temporary spike, raising safe havens and heading towards all safety seekers.

October contracts on the Comex reached $ 25.40 an ounce, reaching $ 2,000.10, after hitting the price of $ 2,001.60 an ounce later.

December contracts, the most active, are trading at $ 26 an ounce, up 1.3%, to $ 2,012.30 an ounce.
