Iranian health authorities announced today, Sunday, that it recorded more than 200 new deaths caused by the new Corona virus within 24 hours, for the second day in a row.
A spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Sima Sadat Larry, confirmed, during a daily summary, that 208 new deaths had been recorded from the virus that causes “Covid-19” during the past 24 hours, compared to 216 deaths the previous day.
During the last day, the Ministry recorded 2,655 new cases of coronavirus, compared to 2548 cases yesterday.
This brings the total number of Corona cases registered in Iran since the beginning of the pandemic to 309,437, including 17190 deaths and 268,102 recoveries.
4089 people with “Covid-19” are still in critical condition in Iran and undergoing intensive care.
To date, more than 2.508 million examinations have been carried out to diagnose infections in Koruna, and Mazandaran and Rastan governorates are still in the red state, while Qom remains in a state of alert.
