FIFA has revealed the preliminary list of referees nominated to participate in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which starts from 21 November to 18 December.
FIFA issued a list of the referees nominated to participate in the Qatar World Cup two years later, and the list included 6 African referees, including one Egyptian referee who is Amin Omar.
The names of African rulers included in the preliminary list:
Mostafa Ghorbal, (Algeria), Ridouane Gayed (Morocco), Amin Omar (Egypt), Magit Ndiaye (Senegal), Njambo Nadala (Democratic Republic of the Congo), by the property of Tessima (Ethiopia).
It is noteworthy that referee Jihad Grisha is the only Egyptian who participated in the World Cup in Russia 2018.
